Ecosystem News
Israeli startups raised over $600m in November
Israeli startups raised over $600 million in November 2022, according to press releases seen by "Globes." The figure may be more as some companies prefer to remain in stealth and sometimes do not publicize the investments they have received.
The major financing rounds that were completed were led by AI data platform Weka, which raised $135 million. Cybersecurity company Apiiro raised $100 million, secrets management company Akeyless raised $65 million, robot drug delivery company Bionaut raised $43.2 million, and car marketing data company Autoleadstar raised $40 million.
Conbo.ai’s billion-dollar opportunity to revolutionize maritime terminals
The Israeli company has raised $2 million to help with the sensitivities surrounding supply chains.
“Global supply chains are extremely sensitive to changes in demand, production, global economy, political interests, and whatnot,” explained Conbo.ai. “AI and big data technologies were harnessed to enable better efficiency and predictability, but they are limited by the data they process.”
According to the company, while there is wide and varied relevant data online to feed AI algorithms, key logistic hubs such as maritime terminals and train operators are struggling to digitize their operations due to traditional reasons and unique needs, making data collection a real challenge.

Turns aluminum into a water-reactive fuel
Found Energy is a clean energy company producing a carbon-free fuel that is lower-cost and more energy-dense than fossil fuels. This will enable to decarbonize the most challenging and carbon-intensive industries which are unaddressed by existing technology portfolios.
Their technology uses metallic aluminum as the carbon-free fuel to produce hydrogen on-demand for less than $0.50 per kilogram and at five times the volumetric energy density of liquid hydrogen.
The company now scaling and translating the hydrogen generation technology to both commercial and humanitarian applications, taking on both the causes and effects of climate change.

Quantum Hub PoC Use-Case
The Situation
Today the solutions for monitoring the tires condition and weight load on the vehicles are mainly expensive hardware solutions.
In order to maximize the safety, efficiency, and driving experience, it is crucial to monitor the tire conditions/health and weight of the vehicle using software only in real-time.
What we did
Evaluate Tactile’s software performance and accuracy on different road surfaces and driving conditions in three different tests- Tire grip estimation, weight estimation, and tire tread depth.
We conducted over 30 scenarios on Kia Niro EV and Kia K2500, supplied with signals from the vehicle such as: power unit output torque, wheels speeds, multi accelerations, tires pressures, steering angle and more axis.
Expected Results
Grip estimation - The technology was be able to estimate the grip of the vehicle and sense transitions between surfaces, in real-time with an accuracy of ±0.2 mu which is suitable according to the predefined KPIs.
Tire tread depth - The software was able to identify the “bad” tire location and indicate the level of its tread depth of -3.2 mm with an accuracy of error < ± 1.5 [mm] according to the predefined KPIs
Weight estimation - The software was able to estimate the weight load of the vehicle with accuracy of 85%.These results are suitable according to the predefined KPIs
Tactile Mobility
Tactile Mobility’s platform allows OEMs to benefit from the new industry standard in vehicle data. Through the company’s software licensing and data services, OEMs can leverage an innovative system empowering them to give smart and autonomous vehicles the tactile capacity to augment visual and auditory sensing.
